COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS AND GIFTS ON SALE
Now that the Thanksgiving gluttony is over and we can sit back and let our pants out (figuratively speaking since I rarely wear pants), the shopping fever is on. Some of the biggest sales of the year are happening now and this is a great time to stock up on those winter essentials as well as Christmas and holiday gifts. I most often tend to give and also love to get, accessories since you can find so many cute accessories under $50. In this post I’m sharing a few of the things I’m gifting, as well as buying myself haha. All are on sale since there’s not much reason to buy anything full price right now unless you’re going for specific designer items.
My first gift of choice in the winter is always hats! You might know that I’m somewhat obsessed with hats since they do such a good job of hiding my ineptitude with hair styling. They also really help to keep you warm. I love beanies in particular for colder weather and a beanie with a pom is always a winner. Almost whites are perfect for this time of year and go with anything so I grabbed this one from the Gap – it’s currently only $15 with code TGIF50. Another beanie I love is this one by Hinge which is perfect for smaller heads. I have it in black, you can see it here, but it also comes in 6 or 7 other colors – love the ivory. I’m not ashamed to admit I also grabbed this beanie from the kids section and aside from the slightly lower quality of the pom I don’t see any problems with it. And bonus I can now wear a matching beanie with my toddler:)
Scarfs are another big favorite of mine. I find them virtually impossible to resist, even though I have so many. Winter plaid in particular is so cute, specially if you like preppy styles or are looking for easy ways to add a festive tone to your outfit. I like this red, navy, white combo because it compliments any neutral and obviously matches navy, which I’ve been wearing a lot of recently.
If you want to shop my look, details are below! Thanks for reading and hope you’re all enjoying the holiday months as much as I am!
