TOP PICKS FROM THE NORDSTROM SALE

 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks
If this picture looks familiar it’s because this is from last Fall – unfortunately none of my Nordstrom Anniversary online sale purchases have arrived yet so I couldn’t take any pics. So I improvised! Anyway, one of my favorite pieces from the sale is this Summer to Fall dress in an updated color – mauve. If you ignore the color of my dress, you can at least see the fit and movement from this pic. You can also see the original post here if you’re curious. Here are my top picks from the Nordstrom sale:
I find this dress to be so versatile. You can wear it by itself in the summer and with layers in the Fall. The material is on the heavier side so it actually works quite well for cooler weather. I’m wearing an XS here and the fit is perfect in the torso other than it being a little small in the chest area. If you’re on the busty side this is something to keep in mind though you always size up and go with a more relaxed fit on the rest of the body. This dress has pockets, which is always a winning feature for me, and last but not least, it washes really well in a washing machine so it’s not high-maintenance. It also comes in two other colors. The brown buckthorn is gorgeous if you like warmer colors and I’m totally intrigued by the red jelly color too. It’s so subtle – close to rust but not quite!
I love this dress for everyday and with the sale it’s only $36! I love the simple faux wrap style and the little ruffle details. Add a belt if you want to dress it up a little more or add some texture. This is another one that transitions easily into Fall with a long-line cardigan (this one’s included in the sale) and neutral booties like this splurge pair in beige or studded cute booties.
This is my first foray into a denim jacket that’s not the classic cut and wash. I love this over-sized style for instantly making dresses feel more stylish. And the distressing doesn’t hurt! I wear fairly minimal distressing on jeans so this is a fun way to add a shredded look without exposing too much skin. I got size 2.
This is such a statement shoe, I’m in love. The colors, the texture, the burnout look are all so stunning. At under $90 this is such a steal and a great way to get on board with this year’s luxe fabrics trend without getting too invested. I also love this designer pair but these are wayyy out of my budget! So if you’re trying to stay under $200 for your floral booties, this is a phenomenal option right?
This tie-front top is such a stylish substitute for a tee shirt. It’s sold out in the smaller sizes in white but also comes in pale pink and blue stripes. It does run big though so I would size down and maybe still be prepared for a little bit of an oversized look. It’s currently under $32.
